System, the Working Your Way Back Home
Initiative will help ensure that Mississippians
affected by the hurricane are able to find
employment in their host communities and to
transition home with appropriate relocation
resources and other needed assistance.

Working Your Way Back Home
- Identify 1,000 MS. evacuees who want to return
home for employment - Place 500 evacuees in jobs/training
- Provide relocation other assistance to ease
transition - Develop lasting partnership between
Manpower/MDES - Create model for other hurricane-impacted
states.
