FAU has two types of Learning Communities

Living-Learning Communities (LLCs)
LLC applications are available now for Fall
2009-Spring 2010! Check out our Web site!

• LLCs link common first semester courses with a
  common interest or theme
• Students live together on a common floor in
  Heritage Park Towers!
• Students have a shared course schedule with
  students in the same LLC
• Develop great connections with University
  Faculty and Staff
• For students who intend to live the Boca Raton
  Campus only!

Students have great study group opportunities!

Students enroll in 12-14 credits from the General
Education Curriculum!

Get Support!
From a Learning Community Liaison (LCL)!
LCLs are alumni of one of FAUs past Learning
Communities! Provide mentorship and peer
support to students enrolled in a Learning
Community! Plan social and academic activities
for students enrolled in a Learning Community!
