  • Mean-the average of a set of data.
  • Median-the number in the middle of the set of
    data in order from least to greatest
  • Mode-the number that appears the most in the
    set of data.
  • Range-the difference of the smallest and the
    largest number in the set of data.

  • Step1
  • Add all of your data together then divide by the
    number of data you have.
  • Ex 99,98,79,89,100,95,97,80,95,95
  • Place in order from least to greatest. Then,
    add.
  • Divide by the number of data you have.

  • Step2
  • List your numbers in order from least to
    greatest. Then, pick the number that is in the
    middle. If you have two numbers, add them up and
    divide them by 2.

  • Look at your numbers and see which one appears
    the most. You might have more than one number
    that appears the most.

    the number.
