Our Inaugural 2007 Health Fitness Expo was a
huge success!

My sisters and I learned a great deal about
health and health care technologies. One of us
scheduled a visit to her PCP as a result of the
expo. The three of us have signed up for two
fitness classes at the Newton/Wellesley Wellness
Center (we had no idea the hospital offered
fitness classes). We also received very generous
samples of skin products from CVS which we love.
Thank you again, and we hope this Expo will be
repeated and enlarged next year.

Let me simply say I have never done a show with
such absolute perpetual "slammed to the
wall"intensity as we had. We screened over 500
people in two days and we are now busy unraveling
sheer pandemonium.  I wish we had two booths
and two teams screening.. A great success and
clearly very impressive numbers. Let us know what
you anticipate for dates next year so we can plan
it in our schedule, which I am developing two

I am a 27 year old who went to the expo with my
70 year old grandmother, and my 56 year old
mother, and we all found something to do at the
expo!!!! I can't thank you enough, I am ecstatic
and can't wait until next year... I love your
anchors and reporters, and your staff was so
professional. thank you.

WOW!  What an amazing experience!  My 9 year old
son, Evan, and I had a terrific Saturday at the
Expo.  There were interests for both of us and
Evan just loved being on the Weather Board! I
also want to thank the many health professionals
who were at the expo.  My healthcare coverage
application has been filed and it is a huge
weight off my shoulders.   I am so glad the event
was such a success and I understand it will now
be an annual expo.  Bravo!!

The event was a fantastic success for us.  We
talked to thousands of people about our insurance
plans, helped about 100 people actually apply for
Commonwealth Care, painted hundreds of kids
faces.  And, Sunny our mascot was recruited to
appear on the weather forecast Sunday

  • All event attendees receive a free copy.
  • Programs designed to be utilized during and
    after the event, filled with health-related
    information, event guide and map of the floor.

    magazine that is professionally designed.
  • Online visitors can download the program
    guide prior to visiting the expo.
  • 12,000 program guides were distributed in
    2007, and well double that to 24,000 for 2008!

BROADCAST 1,600 promotional announcements will
air on WHDH-TV from May 1 June 22. 1,500
promotional announcements will air on CW56 from
May 1 June 22. Based on 2007 promotional
schedule CABLE 1,400 promotional announcements
will air on WeatherPlus from May 1 June 22.
Based on 2007 promotional schedule OUTDOOR Outdo
or advertising of various shapes and sizes all
around Boston, promoting the FREE Health
Fitness Expo at the Hynes Convention Center
including a billboard on the 93S Expressway and a
banner on the NBC7 Studio Building in Government
Center.

distributed each day for 10 days prior to the
event, each containing full content/articles
