2Presupposition of this work
- Investigations take place since 1927, more than
40 000 observation paper forms - data access problem
- data processing and data analysis problems.
3Project mission
- To elaborate a conversion technology from current
formats to a specific data base - To develop a user interface for advanced data
processing - To create a user interface for integral
statistical indicators calculation

9Results
- Data conversion program has been developed,
- DB has been created (currently 350 000 records)
- User interface has been developed for special
data manipulation augmentation - Statistical module have been implemented
- Import/export modules for the data base have been
established.
10Conclusion
-
- This project is a modern information
technologies application to ecological and
biological data and knowledge. The data-analytic
system has been implemented and is being
exploited in the ISU Research Institute of
Biology.
