Script

• Must identify all major visualization and
  picturization elements, this includes
  transitions.
• Format -- textbook - pages 420-422.
• Strive for most complete instructions and detail.

Storyboard

• Must identify all major visualization and
  picturization elements, this includes
  transitions.
• Script and storyboard must be consistent with
  each other.

Character Generator Info

• Must be complete.
• Make sure to describe how the graphic will be
  used.
• How is it framed?
• Is it a key or plain graphic?
• Is it a crawl or roll?

Character Generator Info

• If you provide the graphic it should be 720 x
  480, 72 ppi. Remember the aspect ratio and
  essential area!
• Graphics you provide must be on a CD. The Trinity
  will not accept DVDs or jump drives.

Facilities Request Crew Assignments

• List production equipment required.
• Number of cameras.
• Mics needed.
• Playback VTRs you will use...number and format.
• Consult with me beforehand about any elaborate or
  unusual requirements.
• List all production personnel and their crew
  assignment.

Set and Lighting Design

• Must be drawn to scale 1/4" 1.
• Set design with major camera positions should be
  drawn on studio floorplan.
• Lighting design should be drawn on an acetate or
  tracing paper overlay.

Final Project Tips

• Use the Project Specification Sheet.
• Remember that your principle objective is to
  demonstrate your grasp of the production process.
• Make your pre-production package as complete and
  professional as you can.
• Plan, plan, plan, then plan some more
• If you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail.

Final Project Tips

• Bring prompter script in on a floppy, CD, or
  flash drive as an MS Word file. Use only the
  audio column.
• Use your hour of studio time efficiently.
• Have tapes all ready to transfer. Remember to
  have some pad on the head and tail of your cuts.
• Make sure your crew is on time.
• Pay attention to control room monitorsvideo and
  audio.
• If you wish a copy, bring me a VHS tape with your
  name on it. I will return it at the Final.
