  • Why do some organizations/groups/companies
    thrive and survive in
  • todays economy and others do not? Many
    times the answer
  • can be Leadership.

  • No one group/organization was training and
    developing adults
  • for greater leadership roles in agriculture,
    agribusiness, forestry
  • and rural Georgia.

  • Georgia Agri-Leaders Forum idea was born in
    1989
  •  
  • Over 300 agricultural leaders were surveyed
  •  
  • Created as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit
    organization
  • Over 300 graduates since the program began
  •

  • How does one apply to become
  • a member of the next Class?
  •  
  • You can apply by filling out an application
  •  
  • Send in the completed application to the Forum
    office
  •  
  • Schedule a personal interview for you and your
    spouse
  •  
  • The personal interview will be conducted by
    Forum Staff
  • and several graduates of the Forum
  •  
  • The Board of Directors will make the final
    decision on
  • your acceptance

  • Resources and Funding for the
  • Georgia Agri-Leaders Forum
  •  
  • It takes about 7,000 to fund each participant
    for the year
  • Georgia Agri-Leaders receives limited funds to
    help pay for
  • the program from grants, organizations,
    companies, graduates
  • as well as in-kind donations for meals and
    other expenses
  • If you are accepted as a participant in the
    program and are a state
  • resident, you receive an automatic scholarship
    worth 3,000
  •  
  • Your final tuition would only be 4,000 -
    3,000 if full-time farmer
  •  
  • We can help you explore ideas on how to raise
    tuition dollars if
  • needed
  •  
  • Has anyone ever entered the program and not
    been able to raise
  • the funds for their tuition? NO
