Come and visit the wonderful planet Mars!
Because of its color, Mars was named after the
Roman god of war, who was covered with blood. The
gods shield and spear form the planets sign, also
the universal sign for man. Its nickname is
Red Planet because of the reddish-mineral
covering the surface. Of all planets, Mars has
the largest volcanoes including the largest in
the solar system, called Olympus Mons. Well
learn about moons, price of rocket, coupons, and

includes polar ice caps, volcanoes, canyons,
craters, and surface erosion caused by wind and
running water. - Atmosphere Mars atmosphere contains 95 carbon
dioxide, 3 nitrogen, and 1.6 argon. - Distance Mars distance from the sun is 142
million miles and 49 million miles from the
Earth. It is the fourth planet from the sun. - Moons Mars has two moons named Phobos and
Deimos. Phobos is 16 miles in diameter, and
Deimos is 9.3 miles in diameter. Both of these
moons arent round. The largest demention is
given. - Orbit Mars orbit is 686.98 Earth days.

hours and 37 minutes and the the length of the

temperature is 71ºF and the low is -193ºF below

kilometers above regular surface - Mars is named after Mars, the Roman God of War.
