Specific

• S Specific. Be detailed. Write down what you
  really want to do.Specific. The goal must tell
  exactly what will be accomplished. For example
  By October 1, I will develop a procedure
  checklist for performing maintenance on the
  company vehicle.

Measurable

• M Measurable. This can be in stages but you
  need to know when you've arrived an end
  point.Measurable. A measurable criteria helps
  you determine if the goal has been completed.
  This can be stated as a number (5 ideas, 10
  gain, one decision) or as an achievement (Did I
  write a document or not?).

Achievable

• A Achievable. You have to be able to do it,
  even if it takes effort, new learning and a bit
  of struggleAchievable. Goals must be realistic
  for the resources and time available.

Results-oriented

• R Results-oriented. Once the goal is achieved,
  what will be different, how have things changed,
  whats the result

Time-bound

• T Time. Dont be vague. Set a deadline some
  specific date between now and the end of the
  semester.
