Relish Food
  • Food is a pleasure, not a foe. Rid yourself of
strict diets and restrictive eating. Eating well
    and eating enough energizes everyday.

29
Enjoy Movement
  • Dance, stroll, stretch,
  • garden whatever
  • you choose gives you
  • a health boost.

30
Appreciate Your Beauty
  • Cast off negative
  • attitudes about your
  • body. Admire it, dress
  • it, groom it and
  • pamper it. Do it now
  • rather than later.

31
Trust Yourself
  • Tune into your inner
  • signals. Youll discover
  • when youve eaten
  • enough, need a long
  • walk or require more
  • rest.

32
Savor Some Down Time
  • Its all about you . . a
  • nap, a massage, a
  • good book or a bubble
  • bath can leave you
  • refreshed and ready
  • for your
  • responsibilities.

33
Decompress Stress
  • When you feel
  • overwhelmed, pause
  • for some perspective.
  • Close your eyes and
  • take a few deep
  • breaths. Even a small
  • break helps restore
  • calm and clarity.

34
Give Up Guilt
  • An unread report, a
  • dusty house or a fast
  • food meal for the kids

Focus on Your Priorities

  • that overburden you.
  • Protect and cherish
  • time for your loved
  • ones and for

  • friends and neighbors
  • are glad to lend a
  • hand just as you do for
  • them.

37
Remember Youre 1
  • Love yourself first and everything else falls
into line. You really have to love yourself to

Nutrition education programs are funded by
beef producers through their 1-per-head checkoff
program and are managed for the Cattlemens Beef
Board and state beef Councils by the National
Cattlemens Beef Association. The national beef
checkoff is administered by the Cattlemens Beef
Promotion and Research Board. This 110-member
board is appointed by the Secretary of
Agriculture to oversee the collection of the
1-per-head checkoff, certify state beef
Councils, implement the provisions of the Federal
Order establishing the checkoff and evaluate the
effectiveness of checkoff programs.
Producer-directed and consumer-focused, the Na
tional Cattlemens Beef Association is the trade
association of Americas cattle farmers and
ranchers, and the marketing organization for the
largest segment of the nations food and fiber
industry.
