The Introdution

• This book is a very good book. It is about a girl
  who finds a dog in a grocery store called Winn
  Dixie and thats how the the dog gets its name.
  The girl has no mom her mom left when she was
  three. her dad is a Preacher and they live in
  Florida. if you want to find out more about this
  book READ IT!

Opal

• Opal is a dog lover. she loves dogs.She does not
  have a mom. She has no friends because everyone
  thinks she is going to tell for every little
  thing they do wrong cause she is the preachers
  daughter.

The Preacher

• The preacher is a very nice man. he loves Opal
  very much. they live in a Trailer Park. The
  Preacher goes to church every day and leads the
  church.

Winn Dixie

• Winn Dixie is a very good dog. he loves peanut
  butter and goes to church and can catch a mouse
  without squishing it because he is a Golden
  Retriever and Golden Retrievers have very soft
  mouths.

Gloria Dump

• Gloria Dump is a very good person. everyone
  thinks shes a witch but shenot. Gloria has a
  mistake tree and for everything she does wrong
  she puts a bottle. she has made a lot of
  mistakes.

• Sweetie Pie is a 5 year old girl who really wants
  a dog but her mom wont let her get one. Her
  B-Day is in September and her favorite color is
  Pink and she likes to play games.

• Otis is the owner of Gertrudes Pets. he has a
  bird named Gertrude. Otis is a very good guitar
  player he has been in jail before for hitting a
  police man in the face

• Mrs. Franny is a librarian and she loves to read.
  she is very old and has no friends.And her
  ancestor made up a candy called the Litmus Lozenge

• What I liked about the book was that Opal got a
  dog and got to take It home.What else I liked
  about the book was that Winn Dixie was so funny.

• What I didnt like about the book was that Opal
  had no mamma.What else I didnt like was that
  Opal had no friends to start out but in the end
  she had lots of friends.

  about dogs. The dog in this book is the main

• My favorite part was when Opal met Gloria Dump
  cause then she had more friends than she did
  before and because Gloria Dump was like a mother
  to Opal cause Opal doesnt have a mom.
