The Shredding process
The Sweaters are shredded into small pieces by a
shredding machine.

The process continues with fine shredding and the
material is prepared for the garneting machine

The finely opened threads are then fed into the
garneting machine

The shredded old sweater coming as a web sliver
from the garneting machine.

This is transported through suction pipes to the
blending bins

The web is then passed through carding machine
and spun into yarn on bobbins and wound on cones

This is then knitted back into new sweaters which
are recycled and green.
