Title: TABE 910 Level L Mathematics
1- TABE 9/10 Level L Mathematics
- Part 1
- 16 whole number problems 8 addition and 8
subtraction. - No problem has more than 2 digits in the
operands. - Approximately 15 minutes should be allotted.
- Over ½ of the problems involve regrouping, i.e.
carrying and borrowing. - Problems are arranged vertically as well as
horizontally - Some problems have a dollar sign affixed to the
operands. - Calculators are not allowed.
2TABE 9/10 Level L Mathematics
-
- Part 2
- 34 problems.
- Each problem is read by the test administrator.
- No explicit statement about calculators on this
part of the test. -
- Page 4 of the Complete Battery Test Directions
says, The decision whether or not to use
calculators should be based on standard
practices. An explicit statement which allows
calculators is included in the directions for
administering the other levels of TABE 9/10
Applied Math. - Time limit is 45 minutes plus any of the
remaining 15 minutes from Part 1.
