2Purpose of the Project
- To enable the client publicize his restaurant
- Easy all-in-one access from one website
- Maintain restaurant information easily
- To gain a competitive advantage over other
restaurants - Attract customers from other regions

- Restaurant gained enough publicity but only in
the local area - Too many incoming phone calls asking for
information - Lack of a storage database with customer and
staff information -

A Website with a built-in database
5Scope of the Project
- Website with details about the restaurant and its
history - Menu, opening and closing hours, etc
- Database for staff and customers with
administrative rights to the website owner - Staff database to contain list of full time, part
time and casual staff - Staff database also to include- number of hours
worked by each of them - Customer database with list of Regular
customers and walk-in customers - Customer membership status- discounts they are
entitled for, depending on - their number of visits in the last couple of
months - Online table booking and banquet hall, conference
room callback facilities

- The client, Mr. Ranjith Kumar Ponnoju has an
extensive experience in the - Hospitality field. He has been the Team
captain for 4 years at Leelas - Resorts in Goa, India. Leelas is one of the
most distinguished resorts in - Asia and is frequently visited by
international celebrities like Beatles start - Sir Paul McCartney.
- Mr.Ranjith Kumar has also been the personal
steward of Sir Paul McCartney - on several occasions. He also worked as the
head Steward in a number of - five star hotels across the world. He is
currently employed as the restaurant - manager of Copper Kettle restaurant in
Hornsby.
