• 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household,
  and eateth not the bread of idleness.
• 28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed
  her husband also, and he praiseth her.
• 29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou
  excellest them all.
• 30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain but a
  woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be
  praised.
• 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands and let
  her own works praise her in the gates.

• No one rises to any higher plane of moral
  accomplishment than does a godly mother.
• B. No one selflessly sacrifices as a mother.
• C. No task on earth requires more dedication,
  commitment, and highly refined skills tempered by
  compassion patience, as a mother.
• D. No human obligation less adaptable to
  substitution than motherhood.
• E. As we look at the various functions of
  motherhood, let us be moved to gratitude for our
  mothers.

• A. God's order in 1 Tim. 514 - marry, bear
  children, guide home.

  occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

  sprouts in the N.T.
• B. A man stopped at the flower shop to order
  some flowers to be wired to his mother who lived
  200 miles away.

  expression. Ezek 1644
• 44 Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall
  use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the
  mother, so is her daughter.
