Some activities of KANS include
Monthly meetings
Fall Focus (September) and Spring Summit (March) called K-COSP for the board and schools student associations Presidents
State Convention held each fall where we have speakers on various health-related topics, vendors, and you can consider running for a state office if your school is a constituent

When you pay your dues for membership to KANS for either one year or two, you automatically receive membership in NSNA
NSNA holds a mid-year convention each year in the fall where they have speakers and workshops to prepare you to run for a national office in the spring
Annual convention each Spring has nursing students from across the country, various speakers, vendors, and workshops

If your school does not have a KANS chapter and you are interested contact one of us on the state board and we will help you get started
