Currently, Richland has an enrollment of 4,215
students in distance learning courses with a
total of 224,496 contact hours.
This compares to Spring 2006 of an enrollment of
2,004 students with a total of 110, 272 contact
hours. Richland is offering in Spring 2007, 261
distance learning sections that include 113
different online courses. The trend? 110 grow
th in students and 104 growth in contact hours
over a one year period.

Richland currently has 135 full-time faculty
members including visiting scholars. 11 full-time
faculty members teach exclusively online and 54
full-time faculty members teach a combination of
online and on campus courses.
In the fall of 2006 Richland had 134 sections t
aught by adjunct faculty. Richland is hopeful
to increase distance learning enrollment by 10
an academic year.
