    new National Educational Technology Plan to
    provide a vision and concrete goals for how
    information and communication technologies can
    help transform American education.  To help shape
    the Plan, the National Coalition for Technology
    in Education Training (NCTET) is sponsoring
    this webinar to build awareness and encourage
    stakeholder comment.  Hosted by PBS.

  • The National Coalition for Technology in
    Education Training is a nonpartisan, 501c3
    organization that examines and supports the use
    of technology to improve education and training
    in America.  NCTET's board and participants
    represent education associations, nonprofit

    conducts institutes, produces white papers and
    other research documents, and generally serves as

National Educational Technology Plan The U.S.
Department of Education is developing a new
National Educational Technology Plan to provide a
vision for how information and communication
technologies can help transform American
education. The plan will provide a set of
concrete goals that can inform state and local
educational technology plans as well as inspire
research, development, and innovation. A draft
plan is expected in early 2010. This web site is
hosted for the U.S. Department of Education by
SRI International.
