Current Status and Short term plan

• Meet with Prof. Kawagoe and Takeshita in Kobe
  University(Sept 14)
• tile/fiber R D with Korea group
• Meeting Result (Sept 18, 04) LC related meeting
  at KNU
• TiCal and SiCal R D will go on in parallel
• not join to CALICE group but collaborate if
  necessary
• will give a status on tile/fiber R D on next
  meeting (Nov 6)
• Survey will be going on for warm-up, All the
  items will be surveyed
• Simulation, W as passive absorber,
  Scintillator, SiPM, Readout chain
• MOKKA, GEANT4 based simulation is being
  installed and expect to
• simulate very soon
• W is under survey with DaeguTek company
• 1st meeting with expert at September
• look for the all the possibility (alloy,
  heavy metal etc. )
• supposed to be replied back from the company
• Laboratory is being newly setup for the SIPM
  test
• 2 SiPM were deliverd on Oct. 6.

Mid term Plan

• After survey, start R D activity
• Propose R D fund based on early survey -
  Next June 2005
• Plan to build the prototype next year with
  Japan group
• Hope R D will go on in every respects on
  tile/fiber project
