  • Semester Project (14 ECTS)
  • MIKE-B syllabus
  • The project work in the 8th semester focus on
    essential theories and methods within knowledge
    economics, innovation- and competence systems,
    entrepreneurship and firm dynamics in a context
    of change and uncertainty. The project has to be
    problem based and to include a methodological
    perspective with a discussion of the assumptions
    and possible practical application of the
    theories.

  • Important dates
  • Choose a topic of interest and form groups
    according to interest during the next 10 days.
  • Submit a short subject formulation to Birgitte
    (bg_at_business.aau.dk) no later than March 17 at
    10.00. Subsequently a supervisor is assigned for
    each group.
  • Deadline for submission of the semester project
    is June 1, 12.00 at the secretariat. (More
    detailed information will be handed out.)
  • Exam week 24/25/26

  • Individual 30 pages (normal A4)
  • Group with 2 50 pages
  • Group with 3 75 pages
  • Group with 4 80-100 pages
  • But of course, quality not quantity matters!

project exam MIKE-B and MIKE-E An oral external
group examination covering the semester project
work. The examination is based on an oral
presentation and an ensuing discussion with the
written project report as its point of departure.
At the examination your supervisor and a second
external examiner participate. Your supervisor
chairs the session. The duration of the
examination of each group is approximately half
an hour per student. The grading is given
individually according to the Danish 13-point
marking scale. The examination weights 14
ECTS. Danish 13-point scale 00, 03, 5, 6
(pass), 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13
