How to search the Internet
  • Finding stuff on the Internet
  • The World Wide Web has become so huge that is
has been necessary to provide a Search Engine
to make it easier to find what you want.
  • Search engines are indexes which work by
    keywords.
  • Usually you type in a keyword and the search
engine lists a load of websites containing that
    keyword
  • 2. You can do a complex search using more than
one keyword and linking them together with AND
    and OR.
  • How many search engines can you name?

20
Reliability and Bias on the Web
  • Anyone can put information on the Internet, which
means a lot of stuff thats there is untrue. And
if its exactly untrue theres change it might be
    biased!
  • What is reliability?
  • What is fact?
  • What is opinion?
  • What is bias?

I think every pupil should have three hours of
homework every night
Chelsea are the best team in the world!
