• The 3 big questions that every church has to
  answer about stewardship

• To the Jew first- we are committed to Jewish
  evangelism. The first service of the month at
  Gateway Church is always a Messianic Jewish
  service led by a Messianic Rabbi on staff.
• We view ourselves as a full service discipleship
  church. Gateways Vision is to see people saved,
  healed, set free, discipled, equipped and
  released to ministry service for God and His
  kingdom
• Pastor Roberts life message is extravagant
  giving, he authored a book about his giving
  adventures called the Blessed Life. He weaves
  financial stewardship messages or points into
  many of his sermon series throughout the year.

• Our Elders and Leadership team are all generous
  givers and wise stewards.
• We are in the first year of a three year
  77million building campaign called Project
  114. Commitments to phase one kicked off between
  late August and end of October. Worst possible
  time to launch a 77,ooo,ooo building campaign!
  But God, gave us favor and we have had 47M in
  commitments and are ahead of schedule in
  receiving commitment dollars.

Why teach on stewardship?

• Local church needs it.. spiritually and
  financially
• The Worlds suffering requires it and as we use
  our heavenly investment accounts we will wish we
  had done it
• Jesus taught it and we will be held accountable

What to teach?

• Kingdom of Heaven- What is our purpose to
  beginning the journey? What did Jesus say to seek
  first?
• Lordship Stewardship- Gods Part/ Our Part. God
  owns it ,we are His managers for His purposes.

• Giving- First fruits, tithes, offerings, kingdom
  investing, extravagant giving
• Materialism is adultery and idolatry

What to teach?

• Earning- who really is our provider
• Save money- short term, long term, emergency
  fund, major purchases, giving
• Spend wisely- as a wise manager of another's
  money
• Debt- the spiritual dangers
• Contentment- 1 Timothy 66-8
• Training kids- Proverbs 226
• Margin- 1 Timothy 617-19
