Policy Updates

• Extended office hours (Tue. Wed. Until 730

• Charter Renewals due by Sept. 30th

Officer Duties

• President
• Oversees all functions of organization
• Represents organization at official events
• Ensures all officers are trained and informed of
  their duties
• Establishes relationships with others (on and
  off-campus)
• Vice President
• Assumes duty of President as needed
• Serves as main promoter of organization
• Seeks to recruit and retain members
• Coordinates committees as needed
• Serves as parliamentarian if needed

• Deposits earned income to SAO
• Seeks funding opportunities through sponsors or
  SGA

• Maintains all written/electronic files for
  organization

• Event by Event (SGA)
• Proposals must be submitted to SGA 2 weeks in
  advance of Finance meeting
• Organization must go before Finance committee and
  SGA General Assembly
• Organization must contribute 10 of event cost
• Organization must have completed an ROE 7 weeks
  before event date

• Be creative and unique
• Ex Candy sale during Sweetest Day
• Connect fundraiser to organization purpose
• Ex Basketball tournament for Health Club
• Connecting people to the purpose/cause of the
  fundraiser
• Ex Dance to support charitable cause
• Consider the needs of audience
• Ex Pro-Obama or Pro-McCain t-shirt sale before
  election day
