• Fire is made up of energy.
• Energy has to go threw combustion, combustion is
  a mixture of oxygen and any fuel.
• Heat is applied and vaporizes some of the fuel,
  there for turning it into gas.

• Fuel is anything that can burn.
• When fuel combines with oxygen it becomes a
  flame.
• Matches need friction because the friction
  applies heat. The match has chemicals that burn
  with the heat and oxygen from the air is applied.

• Never put anything on a lamp.
• Like clothing, towels, blankets, or any cloth
  items.

• NEVER cook alone or without adult.
• If you have a 16 year old person with you it may
  be ok if your parent/guardian say its ok for
  them to cook with you.

• Make sure that your family knows how to get out
  of the house if it is on fire.
• Stay down on your hands and knees if there is a
  fire in your house.

• NEVER open doors that have a hot handle or if the
  fire is on the other side of the door.
• If you open a door with a hot handle it will burn
  the mark of the handle on your hand.

• Every room in the house NEEDS 2 ways out.
• If your on the 2nd floor in the house you and 1
  of your parents/guardians need to really need to
  work on a way out.

• You should practice your escape route every day
  after work/school.
• If you dont practice your escape route at least
  2 times a week you might not get out quick
  enough.

• DONT use radios or other small electrical
  appliances near a sink.
• Because water and electric objects DONT mix!

• You MUST keep matches out of kids reach.
• Kids can be addicted to fire, so keep the
  children safe..PLEASE!

• When fire men come try not to be scared they have
  to wear those masks or they will have as hard of
  a time breathing as you do in a fire.

• You NEED a fire alarm.
• If you dont you might not know that your kitchen
  or any other spot in the house is on fire.
