Purpose of CAI Lab

• To provide drill and practice as a supplement to
  instruction
• To provide curriculum software
• To provide access to on-line courses

Sign-In Procedure

• Sign In Screen

Sign-In Procedure

• Hold your ID card about 3 inches below the
  laser scanner.
• Scan the barcode on your ID card.

Sign-In Procedure

• If the New Users are not allowed. message
  displays,
• Check with the Lab Coordinator.

Sign-In Procedure

• Select the Destination.
• Select the Curriculum.
• Click Done.

Sign-In ProcedureChoose one of the following

• CAI Written Referral (A student has been required
  through a written referral from an instructor to
  complete extra practice in the CAI Lab.)
• CAI Self-Study (A student is working on
  assignments or completing extra practice without
  a CAI referral.)

Sign-In Procedure

• Use only CAI Written Referral or CAI Self-Study
  when using the CAI Lab.
• The other destinations are for the Alternative
  Learning Center.

• Confirmation of sign-in appears.

• Check with the Lab Coordinator to verify the
  location of the software needed.

Sign-Out Procedure

• Clean headphones before leaving.

Sign-Out Procedure

• Scan the barcode on your ID card.
• Confirmation of sign-out appears.

CAI Lab Survey

• Type comments/ suggestions.
• Click done.

Printing in the CAI Lab

• If you are unfamiliar with printing in the CAI
  Lab, check with the Lab Coordinator or other
  staff on duty.
• If you click on Print, your pages will print at
  the Circulation Desk in the front of the LRC.
• You will be charged for all copies.

Printing Costs in the CAI Lab

• All color copies are .25 per sheet.
• Black and white Internet copies are .10 per
  sheet.
• Two copies of pages created by the patron/student
  (not on the Internet) are free. Those beyond two
  copies are .10 per sheet.
• All printing is picked up at the Circulation Desk.
