Overview
  • Welcome to Introduction to Agricultural
    Mechanics. This is a year-long course designed
    to provide the student with laboratory experience
    beyond the exploratory level in the fourteen
    major areas of agricultural mechanics.

Grading Procedures and Scale
  •  All work, quizzes and test will be worth the
    following points unless otherwise told in
    advance
  • Homework/class work 100
  • Shop participation 100/week
  • Quizzes 25-50
  • Group projects 100-200
  • Presentations 50\100
  • Tests 100
  • 75 New material
  • 25 Old material

  • The total points earned will be divided by the
    total points possible for the grading period and
    assigned a letter value based upon the percentage
    received by the student.
  • A 90-100
  • B 80-89
  • C 70-79
  • D 60-69

Discipline Rules
  • The teacher or adult in the class has the final
    say in all matters pertaining to the class.
  • Talk to the teacher in a respectful manner.
  • Be fully in your seat at the start of the tardy
    bell.
  • Come to class prepared to learn.
  • Respect the rights and view of others.
  • Use appropriate language at all times.
  • Refrain from eating and drinking in the class or
    shop.

    Policies. This class will strictly adhere to the
    rules and consequences set forth by the school
    district.

    ability to their work at all times. Nothing less
    will be tolerated!
