Inclusion and different districts
  • Diversity among school districts in how inclusion
    has been implemented
  • Some educators mistakenly believe they are
required to place almost all students in regular
    classrooms
  • Leads to students being overlooked and not
    receiving appropriate assistance

8
Inclusion and general education students
  • Students with disabilities are receiving extra
assistance in their classes to keep them on
    target with their class
  • May be distracting to other students
  • May take away from their instruction
  • Teacher will not have the time to work with each
    student and their individual needs

    educated in a regular classroom

critical thinking or any subject or area that
    needs extra attention
