- Older PO users will see only features that are
supported by their GWINTER - Windows Client Rollout will warrant special
attention
22Schema Extension
- If you need to extend the schema upon upgrade,
you will be prompted by the Windows installer. - Linux Schema should not need to be extended
- Extending Schema can be accomplished through
ConsoleOne for new systems, or any time schema
extensions are required.
23Primary Domain Upgrades first
- Recover wpdomain.db file
- Install agents
- Copy .dc files to domain directory
- Load agent
- Agent recovers wpdomain.db and converts it to
version 7
24Make Client Option Decisions
- Once a user logs into the new GroupWise 7 PO,
whatever default client options have been set in
ConsoleOne will be set for that user. - This does not require the GW7 client simply
logging in with an older client to the GW7 post
office will set this flag
