CatastropheEvent that promises that there will
be a final battle it is the last straw for P

  • Event
  • Party/Billys suicide and lets get back to our
    regular routine
  • Reason its last straw for Pro.
  • You cant just go back to normal after someones
death accepts no responsibility for Bs death
Last straw because Mac realizes NR does not care
will never change shows no emotion to a
patients death friends with Billys mom if
death does not change her idea of rules, nothing
    ever will
  • Reason its the last straw for Antag

    women, corrupted the orderlies/guards, threatened

one of her friends son killed. She has lost
control Mac is the reason for the loss of
    control
  • Patient dead friends son, ward looks bad, may
lose the Drs respect. Her hat is destroyed and
it is symbolic of the fact that her patient no
    longer respect her.

17
ClimaxThe event that signifies the final battle
after this meeting there must be a winner and a
loser
  • Event Mac strangling RatchedReasons for
Pro If she dies no more power chaos escape
sent to prison or disturbed but would no
longer be under Rs controlReasons for
Antag If she lives therapy or he will be
sent to another ward, or he will go back to
prison she will have control over the
punishment given to him or she will be free of
    him.

Resolution The result of the final Battle
  • Event Lobotomy/suffocation
  • Reason Pro wins or loses
  • Mac loses no power under Rs control
  • Mac wins free of Ratcheds control
  • Reason Antag wins or loses
  • R wins control m has no personality- no longer
