  • There are three key groups that are involved in
    the governance of DERI
  • Oversight Board
  • Scientific Advisory Board
  • Senior Executive Committee.
  • DERI Oversight Board
  • The Oversight Board provides governance,
    guidance and advice to the centre to ensure that
    its activities are consistent with its vision,
    goals and management plan.
  • Representation from NUIG, Industry Partners,
    other Academic Institutions, other business
    representatives, DERI management

  • Provides scientific and technical guidance,
    advice and evaluations on the strategic direction
    and performance of DERI.
  • Identifies opportunities and promotes DERI when
    possible and appropriate.

    inventor of the Internet
  • DERI Senior Executive Committee (SEC)
  • The SEC ensures the effective running of the CSET
    operations, including management of the following
    activities Scientific, Administrative,
    Financial, Business Development, Outreach,
    Knowledge Transfer, Human Resources, and
    Organisational Development, and External
    Relationships.
  • The SECs membership consists of the CEO,
    Director and Vice Director, and Operations
