Maximum Residue Levels

• Compliance with pesticide residue limits

• 100 different fruit veg exported from SA
• 90 minor crops exported
• Major crops are Citrus Deciduous
• Few or no pesticides registered in SA
• Old pesticides registered
• Minor crops for niche markets

• Not economically viable to register by the
  manufacturer
• Unknown application residue levels
