  • Two colleagues outside the committee helped the
    success of the project
  • Committed Partnerships- eg. where student and one
    project lead left off, others picked up.

  • Partnership with knowledgeable school staff-
    helped order, promote and place the kits
  • The kits are a tangible product that will last
    over time in the schools. They are receiving
    positive feedback.

Lessons Learned
  • Partnerships are a dynamic entity- need to keep
    looking for other solutions when partners change
  • Sometimes we need to be creative to resource our
    projects Complaining to your colleagues actually
    does help!

  • It is important to find committed and
    influential partners- they make life much easier!
  • Funding- Timing is everything and we got lucky!
  • Successful initiatives that cross multiple
    sectors really do require solid partnership
    commitment
