Mahayana Buddhism is the belief that the Buddha,
who in his enlightened state of Trikaya, preached
of the Four Noble Truths, which led to the
practice of the Eightfold Path. This process
allowed one to become an enlightened being within
ones own lifetime.

The eye represents the here and now of the
Buddhist life.

In Buddhist tradition the heart symbolizes the
mind in its purest state.

Sambhogakaya
The mouth is related to the Sambhogakaya because
it gives form to our thoughts through use of
speech.
