- 59 of the students who originally enrolled in the
Gateway to College Academy and left were referred
to other programs - 34 of those students did enroll in those programs
- A few have reportedly completed GEDs.
7Fall 2006 Enrollment Updates
- 6 Learning Communities of new/repeating
students(18 students each or 108 students) - 43 continuing students for a total of 151 student
enrollment - Fall 2006 students seem to be, in general, a
better fit for the Gateway to College Academy
compared to Fall 2005 students

10New Foundation Scholarship
- Outreach Scholarship Fund set up through GPCs
Foundation - Intended to assist students who have difficulty
paying student fees (which have increased this
year from 140 to 240 per semester) or with
other living expenses (e.g., MARTA passes)
11Outreach Scholarship Fund
- Scholarship criteria include unmet financial
need established level of commitment from
student to succeed recommendation of Gateway
staff - Donations may be made to GPC Foundation (write
Outreach Scholarship Fund in Memo line of

12Enrollment Projections for January 2007
- 7 Learning Communities planned for New/Repeating
students with a minimum of 101 new students (to
reach contracted goal of 350 total new students) - Approx. 3-5 students may be eligible to graduate
by May 2007
