• Stardate 1997 BBA adds Medicare Choice (now
  Medicare Advantage) to SHIPs counseling services
• Stardate 1999 SHIPs tweak training re BBRA
• Stardate 2003 MMA rocks the SHIPs with discount
  drug cards, Medicare Part D many other changes.
• Stardate 2006 SHIPs are a key resource for
  initial enrollment into Part D
• Stardate 2007 SHIPs services extended to
  include assistance with new issues
