• Samuel Adams led a group to the Boston Harbor
• They through all tea in ships over board.
• This was caused by the Tea Act.

• The British pass the tea act.
• All tea coming to Boston Harbor was taxed.

Boston Tea Party

• Sons of Liberty had emptied a total of 342 crates
  of tea into Boston Harbor.
• On the cold evening of December 16, 1773, a
  large band of patriots, disguised as Mohawk
  Indians. They were Sons of Liberty.
