AcuLearn is

• add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint
• allows you to include narration and video content
• works best with PowerPoint 2002 (version that is
  part of Office XP)
• currently ONLY works with Windows computers and
  Internet Explorer 5.5 or above

• very easy to use
• very easy to edit
• very easy to publish in a variety of ways
• save for the Web
• burn to CD
• save on hard drive
• save for PocketPC

• limited to Windows platform and Internet Explorer
  (Mac support scheduled in q3 of 2004)
• need content server software for web delivery
• relatively pricey

Steps To Record

• save presentation
• plug in microphone
• click AcuSTUDIO ? Start from menu bar (shown at
  left)
• recording window appears
• see next slide

Steps To Publish

• when finished narrating, click the End
  Recording button
• when encoding is complete, select Publish
• Network (for Web) requires login, password,
  server
• see next slide

Publishing Options

• choose Network to make presentation available
  on the Web
• choose CD to distribute using CD
• choose Folder to save on hard drive
• we will do this today since other options not
  available
• save on desktop for easy removal
• choose PocketPC to use on handheld device
