History of ESSCO

• Established November 21st, 1987
• Thirteen members Carleton, Guelph, Lakehead,
  Laurentian, McMaster, Ottawa, Queens, RMC,
  Ryerson, Toronto, Waterloo, Western, and Windsor
• Motto is The Vision, Communication, Action

Vision

• Vision of the engineering students in the
  province to unite and work together to achieve
  worthy goals of common interest

• Publications such as Project Magazine, ESSCOs
  Engineering Spirit Newsletter
• Email and the ESSCO link
• Engineering student events CFES Congress, OESP,
  ESSCO AGM, ESSCOlympics, and OEC
• Students may share and exchange information and

• Acts to facilitate centralized communication and
  information interchange between its member
  Engineering Societies

  14,000 undergraduate engineers in matters of
  common interest
• Actively interact with, and participate in,
  professional and student organizations (CFES,
  OEC, PEO, etc.)
