Independent security review

• Deloitte conducted an independent review of
  ContactPoints security procedures.
• The Executive Summary of the Deloitte Report and
  the Governments response to the recommendations,
  was published on 21 February available from
  www.ecm.gov.uk/contactpoint
• The report acknowledges that security appears to
  be ingrained within the key areas of the
  ContactPoint Project.
• The report made minor recommendations.
• The first task is to undertake an impact
  assessment of the detailed recommendations
  contained in the report.

Detailed Integration Specification

• Version 2 circulated to Lead Organisations on 21
  February
• Will be widely circulated, but is not in public
  domain
• Crucial document for all data sources and user
  access
• To supply data to ContactPoint
• To facilitate user access to ContactPoint

28 Funded Projects Agreed

• 22 letters went out on 21 February
• Letters make offers for CMSs to be
  ContactPoint-enabled
• Grant will be paid in 5 stage payments
• First steps are
• (a) acceptance of the offer and then
• (b) preparation of a Project Initiation Document
  (PID) by the Lead Organisation
• Grant letters for 6 Connexions projects due out
  very soon (this week?)
• Decision on hubs due before Easter
• Special case of YOT interest in CareWorks RAISE
