Challenging Tasks

• Writing test sequences for simulation
• Debugging verilog codes- verilog runs
  parallelly, hard to find out where the bug is.
• Fixing layout errors- dont know what the errors
  mean, hard to fix them

Conclusion

• Thermal monitoring system was implemented
• The result of slope calculation was presented in
  waveform simulation
• Total cell area and power dissipation were shown
  on power report

Future Direction

• Temperature sensors can be added to the system
• A better way of calculating the slope
• Able to take multiple samples from multiple
  sensors at the same time
• Optimize the system to minimize delay and power
