  • The Parthenon is a temple of the Greek goddess,

  • Every four years, the Greeks held Olympic games
    and a procession walked from Athens to the
    Acropolis.

  • Alhambra is an ancient palace and fortress that
    is located in Granada, Spain.
  • It is still standing since being built in the
    12th century.
  • La Alhambra was owned by Mohammed 1, first king
    of the Nasriden, a Moorish dynasty in Granada.
  • A bell was added to La Alhambra in the 18th
    century.

  • Christ the Redeemer is Located in Rio de Janeiro,
    Brazil. It is a large Art Deco-style statue of
    Jesus Christ.
  • The idea for erecting a statue atop Corcavado had
    been around since the mid 1500s, when Catholic
    priest Pedro Maria Boss requested financing from
    Princess Isabel to build a large religious
    statue.
  • The monument was inaugurated on October 12, 1931.
    It took 5 years to construct the statue.
  • It was created by French sculptor Paul Landowski
    and it is one of the worlds best known monuments.
