to study the focus depth of the lens - Several vacuum tests were performed
- At few mbar
- At ?2e-6 mbar
- Thermal vacuum test at 60C and few mbar
- No visible damage observed on the lens

three different part of AMICAÂ -Â Â Â Â Â Â The
external filter -Â Â Â Â Â Â The lens of the
objective -Â Â Â Â Â Â The CCD (20 mm from the
objective second lens).

As expected, the most exposed component to
ionising radiation is the first filter. The whole
dose of a three-year mission is going to be in
excess of 19 Krad.
