Course Purpose

• Introduce you to the history, structure and
  activities of the American Red Cross
• Prepare you to teach Red Cross courses to diverse
  populations
• Teach you the policies and procedures of the
  American Red Cross to ensure course consistency,
  quality and appropriate reporting

The Red Cross Mission

• The American Red Cross, a humanitarian
  organization led by volunteers and guided by its

  Movement, will provide relief to victims of
  disasters and help people prevent, prepare for,
