REVIEW OF SOME CURRENT KNOWLEDGE OF THE EFFECT
ON PEOPLES HEALTH OF TELEPHONE BASE STATION MAST
RADIATION THE PATH TOWARDS A SAFER LEVEL This
paper has been derived from the extensive and
comprehensive files of research and information
from around the world supplied mostly by Eileen
OConnor and Lynn Insley and under the auspices
of the Radiation Research Trust Dr J. Walker -

h.e.s.e. Human, Ecological, Social, Economic
project in the UK Mobile phones and wireless
devices typify human invention running headlong
and incautiously. We have introduced unnaturally
coherent and structured electromagnetic fields at
levels phenomenally above nature in a very short
space of time. In doing so we have also created
social dependency on wireless communication, at
many levels. Control of this whole state of
affairs is in economic terms, and science itself
is beholden to economic and political
interests. h.e.s.e.-UK seeks to address this
complex situation by drawing world-class
scientists together, and producing
English-language expositions of what is so
potentially disastrous to our current and future
health and well-being, in our current approach to
wireless communications.

  • MELATONIN
  • We know that when we sleep at night we rest our
physical and conscious mental activity, however
something else is going on, that we are not so
conscious of, when we close our eyes in the
darkness, the tubes from our eyes to the pineal
gland stops receiving light and the pineal gland
generates increased Melatonin which is the
    controller of our immune system.
  • This causes our immune system to be very busy
while we are sleeping, and commence to repair
over night any slight damage existing from
previous pesticides, chemicals and toxins and
cosmic rays, so that we should be more
    rejuvenated by the next morning.
  • Over a long term of time we hope that our immune
system will win and keep us healthy.
  • Note - blind ladies are half as likely to get
breast cancer as the sighted ones because their
immune systems are working twice as long.
  • Let us see in Figure1 how the melatonin
increases and how the lymphocytes follow.

Let us see in Fig 2 what happens to our
Melatonin under microwave bombardment.
6
We see that melatonin collapses under microwave
bombardment in 4 studies with fairly consistent
results. This means our immune system collapses
and opens us up to all sorts of illnesses. The
measuring of melatonin in urine or blood is much
easier than testing saliva at midnight when the
peak is reached.
7
Well look at the health of people living
near a mast in Naila in Germany Compared with
those living further away. The near mast area has
been imposed on the results and is much larger
than beam patch areas giving underestimated
results. There is a mass of fairly consistent
data steadily accumulating of illness near masts.
Is it
right to ignore this any longer ?

Electromagnetic Properties Of Cell Membranes-1
  • Cell membranes have an electromagnetic character
they act as biological resonators capable of both
    receiving and sending electromagnetic energy.

Consider next the batting wicket 1) Masts The
distribution of energy flux around a Base
Station mobile telephone mast 4 Basic questions?
14
This is a simulated emission field. A three pole
mast sends out beams 120 degrees apart which hit
the ground at a distance of about 10 times the
height of the mast away.

In the early stages of our investigations we
looked at the incidence of disease in relation to
mast location. The method is as follows. S. W.
lived in a flat in London with a high current
mains cable going under her floor that gave
her electromagnetic hypersensitivity, and so she
moved out to get away from electromagnetic
attack, to the south west country. She
collected newspaper cuttings on this subject,
visited the sites and found a link person to
keep her updated on the situation. I took the
worst of these sites and with her permission,
sent the link person a large scale map of their
area so that they could show the houses where
people had serious illness, (it is only local
people who know the direction down a street that
the house numbers are increasing) and the
direction in which the poles on the mast pointed.
They posted the annotated map back to me and I
superimposed the simulated electromagnetic field
strength on to it. A better method is to have
a survey which takes more effort, but it does
show healthy as well as unhealthy people and
should be shown in the same manner. The simulated
field is again superimposed on the detailed
annotated map.

CELLULAR DISCONTENT THE JERUSALEM REPORT AUGUST
2005 On March 14th When Celcom arrived to add
another antenna residents who knew that cancer
was much more prevalent near the masts, rioted
and destroyed all the antennas they could find in
the town by burning them, knocking them down and
ripping out the cables I feel that the only
people who have not got hard evidence that mast
radiation causes ill health are those that have
not done extensive studies of signal strength
against serious illness
34
  • To progress in question 1b i.e. to find more
    illness patches
  • Choose a mast about 10 years old, preferably 25
    metres or 12.5 metres high
  • Look at which way the poles are radiating
    (often radial outward)
  • Find the three ground patches which are usually
    10 times the height of
  • the mast away, if the poles are set at the
    usual downward angle.
  • Ask if there is any excessive illness in these
    regions
  • Preferably also find healthy people outside
that region (this is more convincing to the
    sceptics)
  • It does not need Epidemiologists to do this.
Enough data should be obtained to make the large
effect shown in the results really irrefutable.
  • This is a very different type of problem compared
to using mobile telephones where it takes many
results and advanced statistics to verify a small
    effect.

35
LATEST POSITION JANUARY 2006 I conclude from the
data obtained, up to the present time, there is a
set of illness patches around each mast,
corresponding to the time period over which the
masts have been radiating. Geographically, this
means over Europe and the USA and all other
countries using phone technology in a similar
manner. Three pole masts give themselves away by
stamping illness on the people living in the
patches of maximum electromagnetic field
strength. The people in much lower field strength
areas are not complaining, it is only the people
in the higher field strength areas that have real
complaints e.g. cancer patch well established
after 10 years. Around a three pole mast there
are 3 patches of highest field strength at 120
degrees apart and if as very often the elements
are tilted slightly downward, the mast height,
patch areas and patch distance from a three pole
mast are tabulated 12.5 metre high mast, about
200 metres diameter and about 125 metres away 25
metre 400 metres
250
50 metre 800 metres
500
The illness patches can only be determined by
high resolution analysis, Epidemiologists tend to
work at lower resolution, and thus the data is
smeared over a wider area and hidden, also they
state that if two variables are simultaneously
measured then they cannot attribute causation,
this is a relative statement, when enough data is
obtained they would have to judge causation.
Epidemiology reviews can be regarded as old
results, ignoring the latest work and although
going to a high level of detail, are only going
to a too small amount of data i.e. too few masts
tested, also the low resolution is not
publicised. They unconsciously use fragmentary
thinking instead of comprehensive thinking. This
is the same reason that ICNIRP unconsciously
estimated the guidelines more than 10,000 times
too high for only 3 of humans to have no
symptoms of ill health.

PROTECTION Aluminium Foil or appropriate
Conducting Paint only over the radiated areas,
will very considerably reduce the field strength
in a room as long as the protection does not
allow any gaps for radiation to penetrate However
some will penetrate and it is not good for the
human body to be the main absorber in a
reverberant room. Carbon Black paint and carbon
impregnated material will act as an absorber and
considerably improve conditions
38
ACTION Taiwan has spent 32 million US dollars
last year in removing 900 unsuitably sited masts
and proposes to continue at the same rate this
year. Sweden is sanitising electromagnetic
hypersensitive houses and sending people to safe
areas if they need it.. Britain has a school with
21 masts nearby The BBC did a survey. When is our
government going to start? At the moment Humans
are altering their environment so dramatically
that we are threatening our own survival as well
as well as the survival of other, rapidly
disappearing organisms". The Biology of Belief

39
MISTAKE 2 The data presented shows
that- Epidemiologists had a knee jerk reaction
to the Helsinki Agreement and The Data Protection
Act. They decided to have a rule, that nothing
should go to the public, except very low
resolution results, which hide the real
situation, They take the average illness from say
2000 houses and hence hide concentrated illness
in say 60 houses near a mast. The average is a
very weak indicator. Current Epidemiology papers
which ICNIRP have considered are flawed and
virtually meaningless.
