6/1/2008 Today was quite an eventful day. The
telecommunications committee spent most of our
afternoon coming up with strategic plans to
advertise the need to distribute coupons for
digital-to-analog converter boxes in targeted
counties. Without much of a budget, we have to
take a more grassroots approach, especially for
lower income, elderly, or minority constituents.

What a beautiful day! I decided to take the
afternoon off and take advantage of the gorgeous
weather by the lake. I love taking out a kayak and
