ELECTRICAL CONTROLS Ronco Machine Rigging
offers complete electrical controls design,
engineering, panel fabrication, and installation
services.
This includes new machinery designs utilizing the
latest in products from the Allen Bradley family
of controls. Our designs combine advanced servo
motion control techniques, variable frequency
drives and operator interfaces into reliable
packages that meet or exceed current applicable
safety standards. Some of
our current designs include Dynamic Electronic
Camming (JRT Diameter Control) Servo Indexing
(Log Saw) On-the-fly Servo Controlled Cut-Off
(Core Machine) Electronic Gearing (Servo
Controlled Perf Roll) Ronco also offers upgrade
packages for machinery equipped with obsolete or
hard-to-get controls. Depending on the needs of
the customer and the requirements of the machine,
we can offer a mild control upgrade that only
replaces the older equipment or complete
electrical rebuilds. Often, these upgrades or
rebuilds reduce downtime and increase the overall
efficiency of the machine while still maintaining
the original integrity of the equipment.

ARC FLASH HAZARD ANALYSIS - An Arc Flash is an
Electrical Hazard, which is a very dangerous
condition such that contact or equipment failure
can result in electrical shock, arc flash burn,
thermal burn or blast.   The safest way to
eliminate the risk of electrical shock or an Arc
Flash hazard is simply to de-energize the
equipment.  This is not always possible however,
due to various maintenance issues, start up
procedures, electrical testing and other
operations requiring that equipment be kept
running.  An Arc Flash is a short circuit flow of
electrical current between two phases, or from
 phase to ground, which occurs in the air between
conductors.  It can produce temperatures that
exceed 35,000F.  Over 2,000 people a year are
admitted to burn centers, and according to OSHA,
80 of electrical fatalities in the work place
are Arc Flash related.   Additionally, there are
1,000 people electrocuted in the work place every
year.  Not only is this a required OSHA
certification, but more importantly,
understanding and analyzing Arc Flash Hazards
saves lives.

PAPER Since 2001 Ronco Machine Rigging has
served the Latin American and Caribbean markets
with the supply of jumbo rolls of tissue paper.
By relying on constant supply from strategically
located paper mills in Latin America, we have
developed a customer base demanding different
paper grades on a monthly basis. Among the
different paper grades, we offer 1-Ply and 2-Ply
bathroom tissue, 1-Ply and 2-Ply napkin and 1-Ply
towel, all ranging from 100 virgin pulp to 50
recycled. Not only have we dedicated our efforts
to broker jumbo rolls of tissue paper, but also
to find excess tonnage from paper mills for
resale. Our paper brokerage services are always
on the lookout for new supplies of tissue jumbo
rolls to meet the growing demand of our
customers.

ENGRAVED ROLLS - Ronco is proud to represent an
industry leading manufacturer of engraved
cylinders for texturing several products
including tissue paper, woven and non-woven,
plastics, glass, rubber, aluminum and packaging. 
The lamination and embossing rolls ensure the
quality of its product concerning the volume
(bulk), softness, decoration, union of sheets,
functionality and productivity.  In addition, we
can also offer laser-engraved ceramic applicator
rolls in a variety of diameters and widths.
