5Buttons launch major applications
Press Home to open Favorite Applications
Press Calendar to see your daily agenda
Press Contacts to see your address book
5-way Navigator- Use to move highlight right,
left, up, or down. Press center of open
highlighted application
Press Files to explore and open folders on the
internal drive

bar.

the screen. Select again to turn off.
Rotate Switch between portrait and landscape

etc. - Include a photo with each contact
- Write notes
- Categorize contacts

Press the Contacts button
Or tap the Contacts icon on the home screen

To add details

Change the category to business, personal, or
other
Tap to change how entry will be shownby work,
home, mobile , etc.

- You can also beam memos, tasks, calendar events,
documents, pictures, etc. - Unlocked programs can also be shared

- It doesnt matter what application the receiver
is using. - Beamed data will automatically go
to the correct place on the Palm.

Sender Open your name in Contacts.
Tap Contact Tab Tap Beam Contact
Record opens
Tap your name

Point towards the top of the other handheld. Stay
within about three feet.

- Almost any file or application can be beamed

41HotSync
This allows you to synchronize your Palm with
your desktop. Info on your computer and handheld
will be in sync including events, contacts,
memos, tasks, documents, etc.
42Connect for synchronizing
- Plug the sync cable into your handheld
- Connect the other end into a USB port on the back
of your computer - To charge, plug the AC charger into the
Multi-connector on the synch cable and into an
outlet
43Perform HotSync
Press the HotSync button on the cable
You will see this dialog

45Tips
- Use the stylus to write on the screen. NEVER use
a sharp object such as a pen or paper clip. - If your battery charge runs out, dont worry.
The info is saved in the internal flash memory
until you can recharge. - Use screen cleaners designed for handhelds.
