19Closing thoughts on the newsletter
- As mentioned in the survey, Kingsbrooke will soon
be losing volunteer resources that have helped
keep the newsletter virtually cost free - In the survey, a few raised the point of reducing
newsletter delivery to every quarter, instead of
on a monthly basis. Although it will defeat the
purpose of the sending out timely information,
this option will continue to be discussed among
the Board. - Based on survey results, cost is especially
important to the newsletter, we need volunteers
to maintain the production in-house - Volunteers must adhere to strict time constraints
(newsletters are typically produced by the Friday
after the monthly Board meeting) - Volunteers must also be willing to write and/or
edit articles - If you are interested in volunteering for the
Newsletter Committee, contact the Hotline at
708.337.6800 - If there are no volunteers by May 31, the Board
will move to hire outside resources for creation
completion of the monthly newsletter
