Prevalence of CyberbullyingPatchin and Hinduja
(2005) studied 1400 Internet-using adolescents
experiences with online bullying found that

    online

  • 5 were scared for their safety

  • 56 were bullied in a chatroom
  • 49 were bullied using computer text message (IM)
  • 28 were bullied by email
  • 34 felt frustrated
