• Windows 95 came out in August 1995.
• 95 is mostly a 32 bit
• Backwards compatible with the 16 bits

• Microsoft introduced Windows 95 o/s that can
  handle its own hard disk space and resembles
  DOS. DOS 7.x also came with it.
• Win 95 can handle older software due to the
  standard DOS that is designed to work with the
  win 95 file structures.
